Summerhouses Specifications

BUILDINGS
All buildings are constructed of quality Swedish 5ths grade 16mm (12mm finish)
nominal tongue and groove shiplap cladding on a 2”x1½” planed framing with spaces between studs no bigger than 54cm.
Bottom boards are siliconed to the frame to help prevent damp. Eaves height is approx. 6’
Apex height is approx. 8’6”. Summerhouses without a balcony come with a 1ft roof overhang as standard.
FLOORS
Are made of 5/8 inch tongue and groove shiplap cladding on 2”x1½” planed studs with spaces no bigger than 33cm.
ROOF
Roof timbers are 2½”x2” p.a.r with 5/8 inch tongue and groove cladding, and are felted with a garage grade roofing felt, rather than the thinner shed grade used by almost all other shed manufacturer.
FITTINGS
All fittings are antique black and are of high quality to ensure security and stability where needed.
WINDOWS
All buildings are supplied with glass windows that are silicone sealed and architraved.
TREATMENT
All our buildings are treated with high quality cuprinol decorative preservative in autumn brown colour. Please ask us if you require a different colour.
