Timber Garages Specifications

BUILDINGS
All buildings are constructed of quality Swedish 5ths grade 16mm (13mm finish)
nominal tongue and groove shiplap cladding on a 100mm x 38mm planed framing. The bottom boards are silicone sealed to the framework to help prevent damp.
Also available is 16mm, 19mm
and 22mm finished thickness boards Prices on request.
ROOF
Roof timbers on our wooden garages are 3” X 2” to prevent the common problem of sagging roofs. With tongue and groove cladding, and are felted with a 3mm thick garage grade roofing felt.
GARAGE DOORS
Are 3” X 2” framing fully inner framed to help prevent distortion.
FITTINGS
All fittings are galvanised to ensure a long rust free life span and are of high quality to ensure security and stability where needed.
WINDOWS
All garages are supplied with glass windows (2’X1½’) that are silicone sealed and architraved with spaces between, rather than held in by pins like most manufacturers.
TREATMENT
All our garages are treated with high quality cuprinol decorative preservative in autmn brown colour. Other colours on request
All dimensions are nominal before machining.
